Big, big news, folks. WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, is officially done with USA Network. That’s right, after five years of flips, fists, and titles flying, NXT is packing its bags and heading over to The CW. The first episode on its new network? October 1, live from the famous Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Tremendous venue, folks. It’s going to be a huge night, ushering in a new era of wrestling greatness. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. You know what they say—when one door opens, another streaming platform shuts.

Here’s where it gets wild. According to the king of wrestling scoops, Dave Meltzer, NXT’s move to The CW also means its entire archive will be ripped off Peacock, starting on day one. That’s right, folks—your Tuesday night NXT binge-watching sessions on Peacock? Gone. Vanished. Poof. Instead, you’ll be heading over to The CW’s official app for all your black-and-gold flashbacks. Now, before you lose your minds, I’ve got good news! The Premium Live Events? They’re staying on Peacock until at least February 2026. Breathe easy, people—relax.

But what about this chaos with WWE shows moving around? You’re asking the right questions. Raw’s hitting Netflix in 2025, but NXT and SmackDown? They’re staying put, thanks to a special little arrangement. Don’t you just love a good deal?

Now, onto the real question—what can we expect from the big NXT debut on The CW? Well, it’s shaping up to be one for the history books, folks. First up, Roxanne Perez will be putting her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against none other than Giulia. That’s right, international flavor in full force. Then we’ve got Fatal Influence, the power duo, taking on Jaida Parker and Lola Vice in tag team action that’ll have the crowd on their feet.

And if that’s not enough, how about a Street Fight? Wes Lee is going to throw down with his ex-tag team partner Zachary Wentz. It’s going to be ugly, but in the best way possible. Oh, and did I mention the NXT Championship will be defended? Ethan Page will be going toe-to-toe with Trick Williams in what could be the match of the night. But wait—there’s more! CM Punk, the man, the myth, the guy who once dropped a pipe bomb on the entire industry, will be the special guest referee. Is there anything this man can’t do?

So, gear up, wrestling fans. NXT’s move to The CW is just the beginning. We’re in for a wild ride, and October 1 is just the start.
