Folks, it was another glamorous night for AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May, who added yet another victory to her sparkling resume at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Facing off against the ever-energetic Yuka Sakazaki, “The Glamour” showed why she’s not just a pretty face but a powerhouse with serious chops (literally). But as always in wrestling, it’s not over until the post-match chaos unfolds.

The match started with Sakazaki taking everyone by surprise, diving onto May before she even had a chance to finish her entrance pose. A bold move, but you know what they say about poking the bear—or in this case, the glamour bear. May didn’t let the sneak attack go unanswered, firing back with a barrage of chops and dropkicks, slowly turning the tide in her favor.

As the match wore on, Sakazaki’s boundless energy began to fizzle, while May’s dominance took center stage. With a picture-perfect Storm Zero, May cemented her victory and retained her title, much to the dismay of “The Magical Girl” and her fans.

But here’s where things get juicy—after celebrating her win, May wasn’t done. Oh no, she geared up to strike Sakazaki with her championship belt like it was a Monday morning alarm clock. Cue Willow Nightingale, running down to the ring like a human freight train, ready to save the day! The crowd was losing it as Nightingale went face-to-face with May, both women sizing each other up.

And just when we thought the drama couldn’t get better, the unmistakable music of Mina Shirakawa hit. Shirakawa, May’s former love affair (that’s right, folks, wrestling’s not just punches—it’s passion) made her grand return. May, with all the subtlety of a bull in a china shop, used the distraction to smack Nightingale with the title. Then, in a confusing twist, she dashed out to greet Shirakawa, leaving poor Mina scratching her head as Sakazaki and May had a brief spat on the ramp.

Who’s next for Mariah May? Willow Nightingale? Mina Shirakawa? Or will someone else emerge from AEW’s deep women’s division to challenge “The Glamour”? One thing’s for sure—Mariah May’s reign is anything but predictable.
