Folks, Tony Khan is at it again—he’s bringing his two favorite worlds together: football and wrestling. Just when you thought Jacksonville’s home opener against the Cleveland Browns was going to be all about field goals and fumbles, Khan has thrown a suplex-sized curveball. AEW is set to take over the Jaguars’ Flex Field this Sunday, ahead of the game, with a two-out-of-three falls Lucha Libre tag match. You heard me right, wrestling at an NFL game—because what’s better than touchdowns? Body slams, obviously.

To kick off Hispanic Heritage Month in style, the event will feature one-half of the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara, teaming up with Hologram (no, not a real hologram—don’t ask me) to take on Matt Taven and the ominously named Beast Mortos. If you’re a fan of high-flying moves and end-zone celebrations, this will be your ultimate pre-game warmup.

According to the Jaguars’ Game Day page, the gates to Flex Field will open at 11 a.m., giving fans just enough time to grab nachos and settle in before the bell rings at 11:30 a.m. And if the Jaguars’ current 0-1 record is any indication, this Lucha Libre match might be the most action Jacksonville sees all day. No word yet on whether this match will be streamed online, but fingers crossed—you don’t want to miss a potential moonsault before kickoff.

Tony Khan, always the overachiever, isn’t just out here running one billion-dollar company. Nope, he’s juggling football, tech, and throwing wrestling matches at NFL games like it’s just another Sunday afternoon. Who else could get away with turning the 50-yard line into a wrestling ring? Only Tony.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
