Folks, it looks like the story of The Hurt Business might not be over after all! In a recent interview with K & S Wrestlefest, former WWE United States Champion MVP dropped a cryptic teaser that has fans buzzing. When asked if The Hurt Business—Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and MVP himself—was truly “dead,” MVP didn’t exactly say yes or no. Instead, he gave us the classic wrestling cliffhanger: “Stay tuned.” Oh, you better believe we’re staying tuned!

For those who’ve been living under a rock, The Hurt Business was a dominant faction in WWE, helping Bobby Lashley secure the WWE Championship and Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander win tag team gold. But here’s the twist—only Alexander remains under WWE’s roof. The rest? Free agents with a world of possibilities at their feet.

MVP hinted that he, Lashley, and Benjamin are cooking something up, and while he didn’t spill all the beans, it’s safe to say there’s a plan in motion. Lashley’s WWE contract expired in August, and while WWE fans were hopeful, “The All-Mighty” opted not to re-sign. MVP also dipped out of WWE around the same time, announcing his departure in July, while Benjamin was among the WWE releases following the merger with UFC into TKO Group Holdings.

Now, what’s next for this trio? There’s plenty of speculation swirling. Could they land in AEW? It’s possible, but there’s another option that wrestling insiders are whispering about: TNA. After all, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has gone on record saying The Hurt Business would likely thrive better in TNA than AEW. The recent success of Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler), who jumped to TNA and quickly found himself at the top of the card, shows there’s real potential for the group to make waves there.

But don’t count out surprises—MVP recently made an appearance at GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, and GCW has been a hotspot for former WWE talent like Jinder Mahal and JBL. Could the Hurt Business invade the indie scene? Only time will tell.

One thing’s for sure: when MVP says “stay tuned,” you know something big is coming.
