Folks, it was a wild Monday night on the season premiere of WWE Raw, and Jey Uso—yes, Main Event Jey Uso—came out on top in a match that had more chaos than a middle school cafeteria. In a high-stakes four-way match against Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Braun Strowman, Uso secured his title shot for the Intercontinental Championship. The Calgary crowd? Absolutely lit.

Now, you know when there’s gold on the line, it’s going to get messy. And this match? It was about as clean as a mud-wrestling contest. But before fists started flying, Bron Breakker, the champ himself, showed up backstage to remind each competitor why he’s the man to beat. He dished out threats like free samples at Costco, but these guys weren’t backing down. They stood tall like they were ready to take on the world—or at least Bron.

As for the match itself, things got real physical, real fast. Braun Strowman took everyone on a scenic ride to Suplex City, and before long, he was outside the ring ready to cause chaos near the announce table. But hold onto your seats, because—plot twist—Bronson Reed, freshly back from a COVID-19 diagnosis, jumped Strowman like an uninvited guest at a family reunion. Reed was ticked off because Strowman had replaced him in the tournament, and boy, did he want revenge. Let’s just say Strowman Express got derailed.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, Jey Uso and Ilja Dragunov were having an all-out war of their own. It was blow for blow until Jey unleashed a Spear that could’ve knocked down a building. But just when Jey was ready to pin, Pete Dunne—being the cheeky Brit he is—tried to sneak away with the victory. Didn’t work out. Dragunov kicked out, and it looked like Dunne had the upper hand, but Jey Uso? He wasn’t having it. After delivering a Superkick, Jey soared from the top rope with a perfect Uso Splash to put Dunne away and secure the win.

And just when you thought it was over, who shows up? Bron Breakker. The champ entered the ring and had a nice, calm, totally-not-intimidating face-off with his new No. 1 contender, Jey Uso. These two looked like they were ready to tear the roof off the place, but we’ll have to wait to see when and where their showdown will take place.

One thing is for sure—Jey Uso is inching closer to his first singles title in WWE, and this fight with Breakker? It’s going to be huge.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
