Folks, believe me when I say, Natalya—yes, that Natalya, the Queen of Harts—made her absolutely tremendous return to “WWE Raw” in the greatest city known to mankind: Calgary. Her hometown, where the crowd went wild like they were handed free Tim Hortons, eh? They could feel the electricity. Frankly, I’ve seen smaller reactions for world leaders! You’d think they were welcoming a hero. Well, in a way, they were. Wrestling royalty, folks!

And the brilliance didn’t stop there. Not only did The Sharpshooter Queen show up, but she shocked everyone—especially the poor souls in the ring—by being the surprise partner for Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria. Boom! Big surprise. The Pure Fusion Collective? Never stood a chance. Pro Wrestling Insider tried to spoil the fun earlier, but even they couldn’t dampen the magic. When you’re in your hometown, you win. That’s just how it works.

Last week, Shayna Baszler did the dirty work against Vega, folks. It was nasty, it was vicious—like a bad trade deal. But, boom, post-match, chaos reigned, with Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville jumping in like they were auditioning for a heel convention. Luckily, Valkyria showed up to assist, and it set up the big six-woman tag match. Did Natalya deliver? Oh, you bet she did. Zoey Stark, trapped in the Sharpshooter, and in a twist so wild, even I couldn’t have scripted it better, the rest of her crew also ended up in Sharpshooters. Triple tap-out potential, folks! Stark couldn’t handle the pressure. She tapped faster than a keyboard warrior on Twitter. It was beautiful.

Backstage, Natalya celebrated with Uncle Bret “The Hitman” Hart himself. Let me tell you, if Bret Hart tells you, “Good job,” it’s the wrestling equivalent of being knighted.

Before this glorious homecoming, Natalya’s last “Raw” match was all the way back in June, where she lost to Kiana James. Now, in a twist of fate even I could appreciate, Kiana James has been unceremoniously removed from WWE’s active roster. Sad! Meanwhile, Natalya’s star keeps shining—brighter than ever, folks.

And she’s in it for the long haul, reportedly re-signing a new multi-year deal. She’s a WWE legend, folks. Signed in 2007, debuted in 2008, and still going strong. Truly, one of the greatest to ever do it.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
