In the latest episode of “AEW Drama: Not on My Watch,” the “Absolute” Ricky Starks decided to channel his inner myth-buster on X (formerly known as Twitter) to shut down some wild rumors. The former World Tag Team Champion, who’s been MIA from AEW programming since the March 30 episode of “Collision,” wants the world to know that he’s not about that backstage drama life.

The rumor mill has been on overdrive, with whispers that Starks was sitting out due to some creative differences—specifically turning down storylines, including a potential feud with his former tag partner, Big Bill. But Ricky had some choice words for the internet sleuths: “Enough is enough. Usually I don’t even speak on this but it’s tired,” Starks tweeted in response to a fan’s accusation of him having a “poor attitude” behind the curtain. “I never turned down anything, EVER. Just Stop.”

That’s right, folks. Ricky Starks is as tired of these rumors as we all are of seeing the same five wrestlers in every main event. And if you think that’s not enough, some people even spread a rumor that Starks got arrested, leading to backstage beef in AEW. But just like a phantom 3-count, that never happened either.

Despite not gracing our screens since March, Starks is still very much under contract with AEW, and there’s even talk of WWE eyeing him for a spot in “NXT.” If the rumors are true, “Absolute” Ricky could soon be joining the ranks of former AEW stars like Ethan Page, Shawn Spears, and Brian Pillman Jr., who’ve made the jump to WWE after their AEW deals expired.

So, what’s next for Ricky Starks? Will he stay in AEW and finally get the storyline he deserves? Or will he pull an Ultimate Warrior and make a shocking move to the competition? Either way, one thing’s for sure: Ricky Starks isn’t backing down from the fight, even if it’s just against internet trolls.
