Folks, fasten your seatbelts because AEW is about to bring the noise across the pond! What was supposed to be a straightforward tag team match at All In 2024 has now morphed into a triple threat showdown that promises more chaos than a British tea room at high noon.

This week on “AEW Collision,” FTR and The Acclaimed squared off in a No. 1 contender’s match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. After a grueling 30 minutes, the match ended in a time limit draw, which, if you ask me, is like watching the first half of a football game and finding out there’s no second half. But hang on! Just when you thought this was going to be a case of ‘what could have been,’ AEW CEO Tony Khan swooped in to save the day. As the fists flew and the chaos spilled over, Tony Schiavone announced that the Wembley match would now be a three-way dance for the gold!

The Acclaimed, who’ve been beefing with both FTR and the reigning champs, The Young Bucks, have been itching to get their hands on those titles since earning a shot back in June. But thanks to FTR’s well-timed interruption during their title match on “AEW Dynamite” last week, The Acclaimed are still in the hunt, and now they’ve got two teams to deal with at Wembley.

Now, let’s not forget the history here, folks. The Acclaimed have never lost to FTR—an undefeated streak that’s got to be giving Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler some sleepless nights. Meanwhile, the Bucks and FTR are renewing a feud that’s been running hotter than a summer’s day in Brighton, with each team holding two victories over the other, all in championship clashes. It’s the kind of rivalry that makes Shakespeare’s dramas look like kids’ stories.

With Wembley Stadium as the backdrop, and three of the top teams in AEW gunning for the same prize, this is shaping up to be a tag team war of epic proportions. Bring your popcorn, folks—this one’s going to be legendary!
