Wrestling fans, hold onto your steel chairs! The WWE is back at it with a new trademark that’s got everyone speculating like it’s the night before WrestleMania. On August 13, the company pulled the trigger on the trademark “Fatal Influence,” which has already been approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. What does it mean? Well, if history has taught us anything, it could be anything from a new faction name to Vince McMahon’s latest attempt to outdo his own creative genius—remember Gobbledy Gooker, anyone?

Listed under “entertainment services,” this new trademark sounds like it’s geared towards wrestling exhibitions and performances, but that’s about as vague as a wrestler’s retirement announcement. Naturally, this has the WWE Universe buzzing, with many pointing fingers at a possible rebranding of The Judgment Day, the stable that has recently gone through more twists and turns than a Roman Reigns match.

In a shocking twist, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley—The Judgment Day’s own version of Batman and Robin—were unceremoniously kicked out of the group. Not to worry, though! The duo has rebranded themselves as The Terror Twins, which sounds like a pair of villains straight out of an ’80s action flick. Wrestling guru Dave Meltzer chimed in with his two cents, suggesting that WWE might just be gearing up to rename The Judgment Day as “Fatal Influence.” But, hey, if the creative team has taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected—like the previously rumored name “Street Trash,” which was thankfully left in the creative dumpster.

The reimagined Judgment Day, or should we say Fatal Influence, will attempt to bury Priest and Ripley in the annals of wrestling history at the upcoming Bash in Berlin on August 31. The headliner? A mixed tag team match featuring Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan against The Terror Twins. So mark your calendars and get your popcorn ready, because this could be the start of WWE’s next great saga—or just another episode of “What Were They Thinking?”
