Well folks, get ready to rumble! WWE NXT is packing its bags and hitting the road to kick off its new era on The CW, waving goodbye to USA Network after five action-packed years. Starting this October, NXT will bring the smackdown to broadcast TV, becoming the only WWE brand to grace network television. That’s right, as SmackDown slides over to USA in September 2024 and Raw grapples its way onto Netflix in 2025, NXT will be the shining star on The CW.

To make sure this move is more electrifying than The Rock’s eyebrow, WWE has announced two blockbuster arena shows. Mark your calendars, wrestling fans! On October 1, NXT will take over the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Just a week later, on October 8, the madness continues at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. And who’s dropping by to make these events even more epic? None other than CM Punk in his hometown of Chicago and Randy Orton in his stomping grounds of St. Louis. It’s hometown heroes week, baby!

Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 15. But if you’re a superfan with the reflexes of a cat and the speed of a cheetah, there’s a pre-sale on Wednesday, August 14. Set those alarms!

WWE’s schedule is busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. With Raw and SmackDown still throwing down on USA till the end of 2024, and the Bad Blood PLE squeezed in on October 5, it’s a wrestling marathon. And just to spice things up, the October 8 NXT showdown will be going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite’s “Title Tuesday.” It’s like Christmas, but with more body slams and fewer carols.

So, grab your popcorn, put on your favorite wrestling tee, and get ready for NXT to smash its way into The CW with style, flair, and a whole lot of muscle. This is going to be one wild ride, folks!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
