Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker, known for her in-ring prowess and no-nonsense attitude, has hilariously shut down the latest backstage gossip swirling around her like a tornado in a trailer park. Rumors had been flying higher than a luchador on caffeine about Baker’s alleged suspension after a spicy confrontation with none other than MJF.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Baker sarcastically poked fun at the wild tales of her supposed suspension. “You ever heard a rumour about yourself and actually wanted to hear more. Like now way …. what did I do next?!” she quipped, making it clear she finds the rumors as believable as a wrestling match without a steel chair.

The gossip mill had previously suggested that Baker was fined and benched for a week or two after a fiery clash with MJF. The drama supposedly kicked off when Baker was overheard roasting MJF in the women’s locker room, with the juicy details conveniently relayed to MJF by his girlfriend and AEW broadcaster, Alicia Atout. Word on the street was that Baker wasn’t too thrilled with Atout playing the messenger, leading to a legendary showdown in the locker room that could rival any pay-per-view main event.

Adding more fuel to the fire, a recent report claimed Baker was not only trash-talking MJF but also taking aim at Will Ospreay. This led to Ospreay stepping into the drama ring himself. Despite all the hullabaloo, Baker is gearing up for a showdown of her own at this month’s All In pay-per-view, where she’ll square off against AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Meanwhile, MJF and Ospreay are set to settle their differences in a London showdown on August 25, with MJF’s AEW American Championship on the line.

Grab your popcorn, folks—this backstage saga is shaping up to be more entertaining than a catfight at a family reunion!
