Hold on to your wrestling tights, folks! Just as the fireworks were about to go off for SummerSlam, we got hit with a thunderous surprise on “WWE SmackDown.” In a shocking turn of events, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of the new Bloodline have snatched the WWE Tag Team Titles right out of the hands of #DIY. It’s like stealing candy from a baby, if the baby was a heavily-muscled wrestler and the candy was a glittering championship belt.

With whispers of Roman Reigns’s return swirling around like a gossip tornado, the new Bloodline stamped their mark all over the show. Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes exchanged verbal jabs hotter than a summer sidewalk in Arizona, agreeing to clash under the infamous Bloodline Rules at SummerSlam. It’s déjà vu for Rhodes, who has tangled in this wild stipulation before at WrestleMania 40 against Reigns.

But let’s get to the juicy part. In the main event of “SmackDown,” the current WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY faced the unstoppable duo of Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Fresh off their victory in a gauntlet match last week, Fatu, the “Samoan Werewolf,” and Tonga, “The Right Hand Man,” came ready for war. With Tonga’s brother and Guerillas of Destiny partner lurking ringside alongside Sikoa, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a fair fight.

#DIY started strong, even delivering their signature Shatter Machine on Tonga. But when Loa jumped up on the apron for a distraction, chaos ensued. Sikoa took advantage, delivering a blow to Gargano that allowed Tonga to hit a reverse DDT. Gargano retaliated like a man possessed, hitting Loa and launching a tope suicida on Tonga. However, the momentum shifted when Fatu, channeling his inner hurricane, hit Gargano with a Samoan Drop followed by a moonsault that sealed the deal.

Post-match, Sikoa stood triumphant, draping the tag titles over his shoulders, sending a clear message to Cody Rhodes: the Bloodline isn’t just back—they’re here to dominate.

Though these titles mark Fatu and Tonga’s first WWE championships, they’re no strangers to gold. Fatu has previously held the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, while Tonga has a history of victories with the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship and the NEVER Openweight Championship in NJPW. With these new titles, the Bloodline’s legacy just got a whole lot shinier.
