Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourselves because the one and only Chris Jericho isn’t hanging up his boots anytime soon. Despite some rather vocal pleas from certain AEW fans, Jericho made it clear in a recent chat with “McGuire on Wrestling” that retirement is not on the horizon. Why, you ask? Because “The Ocho” is having too much fun and still feels he’s got a lot to offer. And let’s be honest, when Jericho’s having fun, we’re all having fun!

Jericho laid it out straight: “I’ll know when it’s time. I’m having a lot of fun and still contributing significantly. I can still deliver top matches on any given night — not always, but often enough. I love what we’re doing with AEW right now, so there’s no hurry to retire. When the time comes, I’ll know. For now, as long as I’m having fun and feeling good in and out of the ring, there’s no reason to stop.”

This isn’t the first time Jericho has opened up about retirement. He’s mentioned before how AEW reignited his passion for wrestling, and let’s face it, he’s not ready to say goodbye just yet. He doesn’t have a set timeline in mind, stating it could be tomorrow, 10 years from now, or any time in between. So, AEW fans, get comfortable because Jericho’s sticking around to impart more wisdom as “The Learning Tree.”

And for those wondering about his final match, Jericho has it all planned out. He wants his last bout to be against Lance Storm, a current producer for TNA Wrestling. But don’t hold your breath—that match isn’t happening anytime soon.

Jericho believes he’s doing some of the best work of his career with his current persona, turning some of the biggest criticisms into pure gold. So, whether you love him or love to hate him, Chris Jericho is here to stay, and the wrestling world is better for it.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
