The WWE NXT Tag Team Championship remains firmly in the grasp of Nathan Frazer and Axiom, despite a partnership that seems shakier than a Jenga tower in an earthquake. These two ring maestros managed to escape Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s Scotiabank Arena with their belts still firmly around their waists at WWE NXT Heatwave.

Frazer and Axiom faced off against Chase U’s dynamic duo, Andre Chase and Duke Hudson, who brought their own cheer squad with Riley Osborne and Thea Hail at ringside. The support, however, wasn’t enough to outshine the champions. In a match that had more close calls than a cat crossing a busy street, Frazer and Axiom nearly handed the victory to Chase U with their synchronized, yet unintentional, self-sabotage kicks.

The match’s finale was a heart-stopper. With Frazer and Axiom repeatedly kicking each other like a comedy duo in a slapstick routine, it seemed like Chase U might snatch the titles. But just when it looked like the belts might change hands, Axiom hit Chase with a Golden Ratio kick, sealing the deal and retaining their championship.

The victory marks 89 days since Frazer and Axiom captured the titles on April 9, defeating the formidable team of Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker at the post-WrestleMania edition of “WWE NXT.” Their reign continues, proving that even a team with more miscommunication than a game of charades can still come out on top.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
