In a plot twist that would make even M. Night Shyamalan proud, Chad Gable has been cleared to compete in the Money in the Bank (MITB) qualifying match on WWE Raw. This announcement comes hot on the heels of a chaotic night that saw the Wyatt Sicks unleash their brand of mayhem backstage and send the WWE Universe into a frenzy.

During this week’s WWE Raw, the Wyatt Sicks made their presence known with the subtlety of a sledgehammer, laying waste to talent and staff alike. Their backstage rampage left everyone guessing about the victims, but one name was confirmed: Chad Gable. “The Master” was supposed to compete in a high-stakes MITB triple threat qualifying match against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. However, in a surprising turn of events, a graphic aired during WWE Main Event showing Gable replaced by Ilja Dragunov.

Fast forward to WWE SmackDown, and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce dropped a bombshell on X (formerly known as Twitter). Despite the brutal attack, Gable is medically cleared and ready to rumble this Monday in the MITB qualifier. Pearce, looking more stressed than a cat at a dog show, delivered the news with a mix of relief and trepidation.

“Despite that attack and despite being severely shaken up, Chad Gable is medically cleared and will compete this Monday in a triple threat qualifying match for Money in the Bank ladder match against Braun Strowman and ‘Big’ Bronson Reed,” Pearce declared, like a man clinging to a lifeline.

Of course, no announcement in the WWE comes without a dash of drama. Pearce’s video was interrupted by static and flashing images, making it feel like a scene straight out of a horror movie. As Pearce tried to thank the fans, the video cut to an eerie image of someone’s face before abruptly ending. Adding to the mystery, a QR code linked to a letter that thanked the fans but ominously blamed them for the chaos, saying the blood was on their hands.

As if things weren’t bizarre enough, Chad Gable took to social media before SmackDown ended, posting an image of Jason Voorhees standing in an open grave. A subtle hint at his own return from the brink? Perhaps. Either way, Gable’s post seems to celebrate his comeback in the most “Friday the 13th” fashion possible.
