Well, folks, it seems Joe Hendry of TNA fame made a pit stop on WWE NXT, but his stay was shorter than a caffeine high! That’s right, Hendry’s NXT debut in the Number One Contender’s battle royal had all the drama of a soap opera but lasted about as long as a sneeze. He strutted in with the confidence of a reality show contestant, declaring himself the “one sensation” amidst 24 other hopefuls. But oh, how the mighty have fallen… fast!

Hendry’s grand entrance down the ramp, mic in hand, was like watching a peacock strut its stuff. “I’m here to eliminate everyone and become NXT Champion,” he boasted. Spoiler alert: things did not go according to plan.

Within moments, Hendry found himself on the business end of a stare-down with “All Ego” Ethan Page, a former AEW star now mixing it up in NXT. Just when you thought this clash might go somewhere, Oro Mensah swooped in like a seagull at a beach picnic, distracting Page and leaving Hendry wide open. The rest of the contenders seized the moment, collectively tossing Hendry over the ropes like yesterday’s news.

But wait, there’s more! In a video posted on WWE’s X account, Hendry, still in disbelief, confronted Shawn Michaels in the gorilla position. “Was that your idea? Twenty-four other men against me? Joe Hendry versus ‘NXT’? You know what Shawn, I can show up anywhere, any time, on any show. All you’ve got to do is say his name,” he exclaimed, clearly channeling his inner Beetlejuice.

For those unfamiliar, Hendry became a sensation in the UK with his catchy entrance theme, “I Believe in Joe Hendry,” which went viral and even charted in the UK. Since WWE and TNA started their new talent exchange, fans have been eagerly awaiting Hendry’s crossover. Well, they got it… sort of.
