Brace yourselves, Scotland! WWE’s Clash at the Castle is coming to Glasgow, and it’s about to be as electrifying as a bagpipe solo on max volume. That’s right, the Premium Live Event that’s got more drama than a Scottish soap opera is setting up shop at the OVO Hydro on June 15, with WWE SmackDown kicking things off the night before.

WWE President Nick Khan, who’s clearly never been to a Scottish wedding if he thinks he’s seen loud and crazy, has dubbed Scottish fans as the “loudest, craziest, and most passionate” in the world. “We are excited to bring both Friday Night SmackDown and Clash At The Castle: Scotland to our amazing fans in Scotland at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow this June,” Khan said, probably while practicing his Scottish accent.

This marks the first time a Premium Live Event is held in Scotland, making it historic in a way that rivals the discovery of the Loch Ness Monster. It’s part of a European tour de force, with stops in France and Germany, because nothing says “WWE” like a grand castle tour minus the actual castles.

Last year’s Clash at the Castle, held in Cardiff, Wales, was headlined by Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre, who took on Roman Reigns in a battle that was less Braveheart and more heartbreak, as he didn’t clinch the win. But hey, it did wonders for the Welsh economy, proving that when WWE comes to town, it’s like a medieval king throwing gold coins to the peasants.

With Scottish stars like Nikki Cross, Piper Niven, Isla Dawn, and Alba Fyre on WWE’s roster, Glasgow’s event could very well turn into a national celebration complete with kilts, haggis, and maybe even a Loch Ness Monster sighting. So, get ready, Scotland. WWE’s about to bring the castle down, and you’re all invited to the party. Just remember, when Nick Khan says Scottish crowds are the loudest, he clearly hasn’t heard a Glasgow taxi driver on a Saturday night.
