AEW President Tony Khan is taking AEW’s Full Gear event to new heights, adding a legendary touch to the show’s promotion with Guns N’ Roses’ epic hit “November Rain.” Khan took to social media to share the news, announcing that the iconic ballad will be featured in promotional videos for Full Gear this weekend and on next week’s “AEW Dynamite.”
“Thanks to @gunsnroses, AEW has secured a license to use ‘November Rain’ in our videos promoting #AEWFullGear + this AEW November to Remember!” Khan shared on X. Known for his love of licensed music, Khan has previously brought hits like “The Final Countdown” by Europe for Bryan Danielson and Pantera’s “Walk” for Rob Van Dam’s debut. Now, “November Rain” joins the playlist, perfectly timed for AEW’s action-packed pay-per-view on November 23.
Full Gear’s card is already stacked, with Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy, and AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné facing former champ Kris Statlander.
