Well folks, Tuesday night’s WWE NXT took a detour straight to Dudleyville as the iconic Dudley Boyz reunited for a surprise assist to NXT Champion Trick Williams. And where there’s Bubba Ray and D-Von, you know the furniture isn’t safe.

The night started off with Trick Williams teaming up with ECW legend Bubba Ray Dudley to take on Ridge Holland and the ever-defiant Ethan Page. But despite their best efforts—and Bubba’s signature table-teasing smirk—Williams took the fall when Holland pinned him. Just when it looked like Williams was down for the count and table-free, Bubba Ray was quick to remind us that tables, like family, are forever.

Moments after the bell, Bubba locked up Page while Williams climbed the ropes for a vintage Dudley “Wassup?” headbutt. But, horror of horrors, there was no table in sight. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, possibly questioning if someone in production missed the memo. But Bubba’s faith in the power of table destiny remained unshaken. Right on cue, the unmistakable Dudley Boyz music hit, and out came D-Von himself, table in hand, like a proud delivery man bringing joy (and mild structural damage) to the masses.

Once the table was set up center-ring, Bubba and Williams pulled off a brutal double chokeslam that sent Page crashing through it. D-Von, watching from ringside with the proud expression of a dad watching his kids destroy the living room furniture, gave his brother and Williams an approving nod.

This moment was as classic as it gets: tables, teamwork, and a timeless message that when a Dudley’s in the building, someone is going through a table.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
