AEW’s new TV deal with Warner Brothers Discovery isn’t just securing the bag—it’s supercharging the company’s production game. Starting in 2025, fans can expect a major upgrade to AEW’s broadcasts, thanks to a fresh partnership that brings WBD’s state-of-the-art production technology and resources into the ring.

With AEW set to use WBD’s cutting-edge, IP-based production trucks, Executive VP and head of global production Mike Mansury is looking to give AEW a “sports-style presentation” that bridges the gap between live sports energy and premium entertainment. AEW’s live events will get a boost, too, as Mansury revealed that the upgraded tech will help keep fans engaged with on-screen content even when there’s no in-ring action happening.

“The idea was getting more IP-based with everything that we are doing,” Mansury explained. “How can we get AEW to be more towards the cutting edge? …We’re a lovely hybrid. How do we take our form of content and intertwine technology into it that leaves us at the cutting edge and allows us to be trendsetters as opposed to followers?”

With potential plans for up to 25 cameras at AEW’s All In event in Texas next year, fans at home and in the stands are in for a next-level experience. The upgrades aim to bring viewers closer to the action, providing angles and perspectives that could set AEW apart in the wrestling world.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
