Hold onto your seats, folks! Triple H just added a little extra Saudi sparkle to this weekend’s WWE Crown Jewel event in Riyadh. Not only are the men’s and women’s champs fighting to be crowned the very first WWE Crown Jewel Champions, but now they’ll get some serious hardware for the win—and we’re not talking about your everyday title belt.
During the Crown Jewel Kickoff Show, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer and walking powerhouse Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that the new championship belts won’t be making the journey back to the States with their titleholders. Instead, these belts will stay in Riyadh, enshrined within the WWE Experience attraction like a prize in a vault—because what’s more exclusive than a title that requires an international flight to view?
“These titles will stay here in Saudi Arabia, right here inside the WWE Experience,” Levesque said, with the kind of authority that dares you to argue with him. “The Crown Jewel Champions…will walk away with a massive ring, like a Super Bowl ring, that shows to the world that they are the one true champion in WWE.” And if you’re wondering just how big these rings might be—Triple H suggested they could be large enough to double as desk weights.
This isn’t the first time WWE’s honored their Saudi events with exclusive trophies and titles. Who could forget Braun Strowman’s “Greatest Royal Rumble” belt and trophy? Or, for that matter, the unforgettable moment when Shane McMahon declared himself the “Best in the World” after winning the WWE World Cup in 2018 (and you better believe we heard about it all year).
So, with Cody Rhodes and GUNTHER battling for the men’s title and Liv Morgan and Nia Jax duking it out for the women’s, it seems we’re about to add two more big names to the Kingdom’s honorary WWE hall of fame—complete with rings you can see from space.
