It’s official, folks! WWE just dropped a bombshell for next year’s Biggest Party of the Summer—SummerSlam 2025 is going two nights for the first time ever! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, 2025, as the event will take place at the massive MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. WWE is following the WrestleMania trend, turning their second-biggest annual event into a two-night extravaganza.

And who helped WWE make the announcement? None other than New York’s own Cardi B! The rapper took to social media, declaring, “Here’s to the Streets.. and to my girl @BiancaBelairWWE 💪 SummerSlam. 2 Nights. MetLife Stadium. August 2nd and 3rd.” Cardi B’s love for WWE is no secret, and this post has fans speculating if she’s about to get involved with Bianca Belair in the lead-up to next year’s SummerSlam.

This two-night expansion isn’t coming out of nowhere. WWE made headlines earlier this year when they confirmed that SummerSlam 2026 would be held over two nights in Minneapolis. But thanks to a nudge from WWE’s big boss, Triple H, SummerSlam is getting the two-night treatment sooner than expected.

In a press release, WWE’s TKO Executive Vice President, Peter Dropick, had high praise for the partnership with New Jersey: “New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and the entire NJSEA team have been phenomenal partners, hosting several major UFC events in recent years including the record-breaking UFC 302 in June.” Now, it’s time for WWE to take over New Jersey in a major way with this historic two-night event.

Ticket sales info will be released soon, but WWE is already offering pre-sale access to fans who sign up on their website. You don’t want to miss out on what’s shaping up to be a record-breaking SummerSlam weekend at MetLife Stadium!
