The AEW Grand Slam card is packing in more action than a cage match at WrestleMania, with the latest addition sure to turn heads. Jack Perry, the reigning TNT Champion, has officially issued an open challenge for his belt at AEW Collision during the Grand Slam event at Arthur Ashe Stadium. That’s right, folks—“The Scapegoat” is calling anyone out. So, who’s feeling lucky?

AEW made the announcement on Tuesday via their X account, hyping up the New York crowd for what’s sure to be a barnburner of a night. As if that wasn’t enough, fans attending the live taping will get to watch all the chaos unfold ahead of time before Collision airs on Saturday. And in typical mysterious fashion, Perry himself hasn’t said a word about the open challenge on his X account. Maybe he’s too busy preparing for what could be the biggest blindside since… well, the last time Jack Perry did anything.

Perry’s been on a rollercoaster ride lately. He successfully defended his TNT Championship just days ago, overcoming Christopher Daniels on the September 14 episode of Collision. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and belt polish for Perry, as AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson handed him a clean defeat at All Out. The TNT title came into Perry’s hands at Forbidden Door when he triumphed in a ladder match, winning the belt after Adam Copeland vacated it due to injury. Now, Perry’s putting it all on the line, and there’s no telling who might step up to the plate.

With AEW’s massive card stacking up, Collision is shaping up to be an event no wrestling fan can afford to miss. Besides Jack Perry’s open challenge, Kazuchika Okada will face off against Sammy Guevara in a Continental Championship Elimination Match. Then there’s Saraya versus Jamie Hayter in a brutal “Saraya’s Rules” match, a Lumberjack Strap Match between Hangman Adam Page and Jeff Jarrett, and a tornado trios match featuring The Conglomeration and The Learning Tree. Oh, and for good measure? Hologram takes on The Beast Mortos and Dralistico, while MxM Collection reveals a makeover of Max Caster’s jacket. Yes, you read that correctly—his jacket. High stakes, indeed.

With all this chaos, Jack Perry’s open challenge could be the cherry on top—or the spark that ignites the whole explosive night.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
