Folks, the tag team of dreams (or nightmares, depending on who you ask) is officially set for WWE Bad Blood. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns—two of WWE’s biggest stars—will be teaming up to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, and let’s just say, the Bloodline drama just hit soap opera levels of intensity.

It all went down on the season premiere of WWE SmackDown, where Rhodes barely survived a steel cage match against Sikoa. But, in true WWE fashion, the real action started after the match, when Reigns returned to help Rhodes, only for the Bloodline’s family reunion to turn into a SmackDown brawl. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa joined in, because why not add more chaos? Cody Cutter? Check. Chokeslam? You bet. SmackDown audience going wild? Absolutely.

Earlier in the night, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis laid down the gauntlet, announcing the Rhodes-Reigns vs. Sikoa-Fatu tag match for Bad Blood, but there was just one problem: neither Rhodes nor Reigns actually wanted to team up. Cody flat-out refused, saying the Bloodline was “Reigns’ problem,” and Reigns, ever the solo act, was in no mood to play nice either. “This is my WWE,” he declared, reminding everyone who still calls the shots around here—even if he doesn’t have the ulafala anymore.

Just when it looked like this was going to stay in “nah, bro” territory, things escalated fast. As Sikoa and Fatu walked out, Tonga and Loa blindsided Rhodes and Reigns, and after the brawl, both men picked up the contract. Reigns signed first, making it clear he’s still the Tribal Chief, with or without the title, and then, in classic Cody fashion, Rhodes signed on the dotted line without hesitation.

So there you have it—two alpha dogs who clearly hate working together, teaming up against the Bloodline at Bad Blood. Will this uneasy alliance fall apart faster than a WWE heel turn? Or can they put aside their egos and take down the family drama once and for all? Either way, the Bad Blood just got a lot spicier.
