Well, folks, it’s official—Kiana James, the former “NXT” standout and brief “Raw” roster member, has seemingly vanished from WWE TV faster than a heel during a contract signing. After being drafted to Raw this spring, James was poised for a breakthrough. But after just a few sporadic appearances, she pulled off a classic wrestling move: the good ol’ disappearing act. Summer came, and with it, James was nowhere to be seen.

According to the ever-reliable PWInsider Elite, Kiana James has now been officially removed from WWE’s active roster. No need to panic, though—she hasn’t been released. Instead, James has been moved to WWE’s exclusive “Miscellaneous” section. What does that mean? Well, it’s kind of like WWE’s version of limbo. You’re not out, but you’re not in either. This spot is usually reserved for talent who are either dealing with injuries or only appear once in a blue moon.

Now, here’s the million-dollar question: Is Kiana injured? No one knows for sure, as WWE has kept this one tighter than a sleeper hold. What we do know is that her last match was back in mid-June in a four-way qualifying match for the Women’s Money in the Bank, where things didn’t go her way.

Kiana’s been quiet on the wrestling front but still active on social media—just enough to keep fans guessing. Most recently, she reunited with AEW star Harley Cameron, tweeting about their weekend meet-up. So, while we’re all in the dark about why she’s been sidelined, at least we know she’s still mingling with the wrestling crowd.

For now, Kiana’s WWE future remains a mystery, but stay tuned—this is wrestling, after all, where even the quietest hiatus can turn into the loudest comeback.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
