This massive news came straight from Raw backstage interviewer Jackie Redmond, who took to X (formerly known as Twitter, for those still resisting change) to officially announce Hart’s return to his stomping grounds. “BREAKING: I can officially confirm that Canadian LEGEND, Bret The Hitman Hart, will be in attendance this Monday for the season premiere of #WWERAW at the Saddledome in Calgary !!!” Redmond posted, probably causing every Canadian wrestling fan to flip their toques in excitement.
WWE’s own Chief Content Officer and all-around sledgehammer enthusiast Paul “Triple H” Levesque couldn’t resist hyping up Hart’s return either, warning fans that this is an appearance you “definitely won’t want to miss.” Now, Bret’s last WWE sighting was at Clash at the Castle in 2022, where he was coolly observing the action from the front row in Cardiff, Wales. But next week? He’s coming home to Calgary, folks.
Beyond Bret’s big return, Raw is looking stacked with action.
