Folks, buckle up. The feud between Pete Dunne and Trick Williams has hit a level of intensity not seen since that time your cousin tried to cut in line at the buffet. These two titans of NXT have been at each other’s throats, and things got so wild on the latest episode of “WWE NXT” that their clash ended in a double countout—after they both crashed through the announce table in spectacular fashion. Yeah, it was one of those “everybody loses, but the table loses more” situations.

Well, it looks like NXT General Manager Ava had had enough of the shenanigans. She popped up on NXT, probably straight from a meeting where they decided how much pyro is too much pyro, and declared that their next match will be nothing short of a Last Man Standing match.

“These two certainly haven’t made it easy,” Ava said, doing her best “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed” face. “But I think I speak for everyone when I say there needs to be a winner. So next week, Last Man Standing, and whoever wins will face Ethan Page for the NXT Championship when we debut on the CW Network on October 1st.”

That’s right, folks, NXT is movin’ on up to the CW, like a reality show but with way more body slams. And what better way to mark the occasion than by having Pete Dunne or Trick Williams get tossed around like a human pinball for the chance to fight Ethan Page? You know, the same Ethan Page who snatched the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave like someone grabbing the last donut at a police convention.

And let’s not forget, this monumental episode is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, where none other than Chicago native and former WWE Champion CM Punk will make an appearance. That’s right—CM Punk, folks! Prepare yourselves for more chants, signs, and hot dogs than you can handle.

Oh, and because things weren’t spicy enough, we’re also getting an open challenge from TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. She’ll be back in the ring to remind everyone she’s not just here to hang out after losing to Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground. No, no—this is going to be a statement, and that statement is, “Try me, I dare you.”

With all that action, next week’s NXT might just need to start offering hazard pay. Stay tuned, folks—it’s going to be a yuge night.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
