Folks, it’s the comeback story we’ve all been waiting for—Jamie Hayter made her explosive return to AEW at All In this past Sunday, marking the end of a grueling 15-month absence. The former AEW Women’s World Champion, who’s been sidelined with a series of injuries, stormed back into the spotlight by confronting Saraya in front of a roaring London crowd.

According to the ever-reliable “Fightful Select,” Hayter is officially cleared to wrestle after months of recovery. She was reportedly at last week’s “AEW Collision” for a meeting with AEW CEO Tony Khan to iron out the details of her return. The plan, it seems, had been in the works for a while, with Khan and company initially considering bringing her back at All In, possibly even in a squash match to re-establish her dominance.

Hayter’s journey back to the ring wasn’t without its challenges. Her injuries were so severe that she needed special clearance from doctors just to compete at last year’s Double or Nothing, where she lost her AEW Women’s World Championship to Toni Storm. That match turned out to be her last before a long, painful road to recovery.

Last month, rumblings of Hayter’s imminent return grew louder when she was spotted at AEW’s annual physicals. With her return now confirmed, AEW’s women’s division is set for a major boost. Tony Khan himself has been on record saying that having Hayter back would be “fantastic,” and it looks like he’s about to get his wish.

Hayter’s return to AEW television was nothing short of dramatic. Interrupting Saraya’s verbal assault on the London crowd, Hayter took the fight directly to the former WWE star and even went after Saraya’s family, who were present in the ring. The history between these two runs deep, with their feud having roots in Hayter’s last run, which culminated in her match against Toni Storm.

Now that Hayter is back, all eyes will be on the AEW women’s division to see how this former champion shakes things up. One thing’s for sure—Jamie Hayter is back, and she’s ready to remind everyone why she was the top woman in AEW.
