Well folks, the Street Profits are back in the gold rush after a thrilling victory over DIY on WWE SmackDown. In a match that had more twists and turns than a soap opera marathon, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford punched their ticket to a tag title showdown with The Bloodline. That’s right, next week, these two will be going up against the might of Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu, and possibly any other Bloodline member who decides to jump in, thanks to that pesky Freebird rule.

The match started with some good old-fashioned sportsmanship—Ford and Gargano shook hands after an impressive opening sequence that had fans on the edge of their seats. But don’t let that fool you; this wasn’t just a friendly sparring session. After a Shatter Machine from DIY that seemed destined to end things, Dawkins kicked out like a man who just found out the ice cream truck only takes cash. From there, the Profits turned up the heat, dropping Gargano with a combination Electric Chair/Blockbuster that sealed their victory.

Now, these guys haven’t seen the tag team gold since August 2021, when they lost it to Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler—who, by the way, is now out there on the indie scene doing who-knows-what as Nick Nemeth. But you know what they say: Every drought ends with a storm. And next week, the Profits are hoping to rain all over The Bloodline’s parade.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
