It’s been a whirlwind of a year for TNA, folks! From re-embracing their iconic TNA name, booting President Scott D’Amore in a winter drama that outdid a soap opera, to cozying up with WWE NXT like peanut butter and jelly, the excitement has been off the charts. But wait, there’s more! We’ve got August through December left for even more drama, and October’s Bound for Glory is shaping up to be the cherry on top of this rollercoaster sundae.

According to the fine folks at Fightful Select, Detroit, Michigan is looking like the prime contender to host the 19th edition of Bound for Glory. While the announcement isn’t officially inked yet, insiders whisper that Detroit is practically a done deal. This would mark Bound for Glory’s grand return to Michigan since the 2006 spectacle in Plymouth.

TNA has been dropping hints like breadcrumbs, teasing that the event would be in “one of the most visited cities in the world.” While Detroit fits the bill with its rich history and iconic music scene, it wasn’t the only contender. Rumors had us dreaming of a New York City showdown or even an international escapade. Maybe next year, eh? TNA is eyeing the UK for 2025, provided they can dot their i’s and cross their t’s in time.

So, wrestling fans, gear up for October’s Bound for Glory in Detroit – it’s going to be an unforgettable night of body slams, surprise returns, and perhaps a few Detroit-style pizzas. Stay tuned, because if this year has taught us anything, it’s that TNA knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
