On tonight’s episode of “NXT,” The Rascalz gathered in their iconic Tree House, with Wentz making their intentions clear: they want to defend the NXT Tag Team Championships across both “NXT” and TNA Wrestling. Wes Lee texted Axiom about the challenge, and NXT General Manager Ava quickly drew up an official match contract. Axiom eagerly signed it, though his partner Nathan Frazer was left in the dark about the whole thing. Despite Frazer’s surprise, the match is set: The Rascalz will face Axiom and Frazer for the NXT Tag Team Championships on next week’s “NXT,” which doubles as night two of the 2024 Great American Bash.
Lee and Wentz, who once dominated the tag division as MSK, are looking to reclaim their former glory. Their second title reign was cut short to just six days when Wentz was abruptly released by WWE in April 2022. After a stint in TNA Wrestling, Wentz is back, ready to set the tag division on fire once again with Miguel and Lee by his side.
