Folks, hold onto your hats because we’ve got some epic news from the world of wrestling! This past weekend, Sareee (you might remember her as Sarray from WWE) clinched the title of inaugural Marigold World Champion by defeating Giulia at Summer Destiny ’24. It was an intense bout, let me tell you. Giulia, fresh off a wrist injury, had her hand targeted by Sareee, who secured the win by referee’s stoppage after a grueling 25 minutes. That’s some hardcore action!

Now, this wasn’t just any match, my friends. This showdown was the main event, even though WWE superstar Iyo Sky returned to Japan on the same card to face Utami Hayashishita. Sky is soon to be joined by Giulia on the WWE roster. Yes, you heard that right. Giulia, the former World of Stardom Champion, is expected to make her big move to WWE later this year, once she wraps up her commitments with Marigold. She hinted to Tokyo Sports that her time in Japan is winding down, so the move might happen sooner than we think. WWE, showing tremendous patience, is ready to welcome her whenever she’s ready.

Back to the match—both wrestlers brought their A-game. Giulia, despite her wrist issues, piledrove Sareee through a table. Yes, a table, folks! But Sareee, showing no mercy, focused her attacks on Giulia’s injured wrist, which was originally hurt during the inaugural Marigold event, Fields Forever. In that event, Sareee and Bozilla defeated Giulia and Hayashishita. So, it was poetic justice, or perhaps poetic pain, that the injury played a key role in this singles bout.

Giulia remains winless in Marigold, but with her WWE move imminent, her future looks as bright as ever. What’s next for this rising star? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—Sareee is the new Marigold World Champion, and she earned every bit of that victory.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
