Page clinched the title in a nail-biting fatal four-way match, defeating Trick Williams, Shawn Spears, and Je’Von Evans. The victory came after Page’s dramatic return to the match, having been wrongfully eliminated during a previous Number One Contender’s battle royal on “WWE NXT” by Oro Mensah.
The match ended in a thrilling sequence: Williams took out Evans with a Trick Shot that also knocked Spears off the ring apron. As Williams hit another Trick Shot on Page, the momentum caused Page to fall on top of Evans, pinning him while Spears held Williams back from breaking the fall.
