Well folks, in the wild world of wrestling, it’s not just the moves in the ring that matter—it’s the alliances outside of it. On Monday’s “WWE Raw,” Liv Morgan stepped back into the spotlight for her first televised match since dethroning Becky Lynch over a month ago. Her challenger, Zelina Vega, had thrown down the gauntlet, accusing Morgan of being more obsessed with Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day than her own Women’s World Championship. Spoiler alert: Vega’s bid for the title fell short, thanks in no small part to—you guessed it—Dominik Mysterio.

The match was a nail-biter, with Morgan and Vega duking it out in a close contest. Vega gained the upper hand with a slick move, kicking Morgan’s legs out from under her while she was perched on the second rope. But Morgan, ever the scrapper, bounced back, sending Vega tumbling to the outside. Enter “Dirty Dom” Mysterio, strolling to ringside and immediately catching Morgan’s eye. Unfortunately for her, Vega capitalized on the distraction, hitting Morgan with a Meteora on the outside.

As if on cue, Dominik’s dad, Rey Mysterio, made his way to the ring, ready to rein in his rogue son. The action heated up when Morgan, perhaps accidentally, baseball slid into Rey, giving Vega the chance to nail a 6-1-9. Morgan, showing the resilience of a true champion, kicked out. That’s when things got a bit… chair-y. Dominik slid a chair towards Vega, urging her to use it. In a twist worthy of a soap opera, Vega hurled the chair back at Dominik, causing him to topple off the apron. Seizing the moment, Morgan hit Vega with the Oblivion, securing her victory and retaining her title.

After the match, Cathy Kelly caught up with Morgan to ask about the so-called “Liv Morgan Revenge Tour.” Morgan, brimming with confidence, declared herself “the luckiest girl in the world” and dedicated her victory—and all future ones—to “the most gorgeous man in WWE, my Daddy Dominik.”

But the drama didn’t end there. Later in the show, Morgan tried to return the favor and assist Dominik in his match against Rey. Alas, Vega showed up to even the odds, and in the ensuing chaos, Morgan’s interference backfired, costing Dominik the win. Ah, wrestling romance—it’s a tale as old as time, full of passion, peril, and plenty of plot twists.
