Hold onto your kilts, folks, because Drew McIntyre is at it again! The Scottish powerhouse took another verbal jab at his arch-nemesis CM Punk following his thrilling victory on WWE Raw this past Monday.

McIntyre, fresh off his win in the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match qualifier against Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov, stared down the camera with the intensity of a thousand bagpipes and declared himself the “real best in the world.” Yes, you heard that right – the real best in the world, a title CM Punk has proudly flaunted for years.

“In that ring, on the microphone, except looking like a damn superstar the whole time, [I’m] the real best in the world,” McIntyre proclaimed, sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe and likely ruffling Punk’s feathers in the process.

This isn’t the first time McIntyre and Punk have clashed. Their feud has been hotter than a haggis on a Highlander’s hearth, with McIntyre relentlessly mocking Punk both on social media and in the ring. Punk, ever the vengeful spirit, has sworn to make McIntyre’s life miserable after McIntyre previously cost him the world title. Punk has been conspicuously absent from WWE television since McIntyre left him battered and bloodied on the June 21 edition of WWE SmackDown in Punk’s own backyard of Chicago. Talk about adding insult to injury!

As for Punk’s current status? It’s a cliffhanger, folks. While he hinted at the Clash At The Castle presser that he’s close to being medically cleared to return, the potential for him to crash the Money in the Bank ladder match is high. Imagine the drama if Punk shows up to sabotage McIntyre’s golden opportunity once again!

McIntyre will face a veritable who’s who of WWE superstars in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match on Saturday, including Chad Gable, Andrade, Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, and LA Knight. With Punk lurking in the shadows, this match promises to be as unpredictable as a Glasgow weather forecast.
