Folks, let me tell you, we’ve got the most tremendous news from the world of sports entertainment, and believe me, it’s HUGE. The absolutely tremendous Paige VanZant, who we all know from UFC’s flyweight division and her unforgettable, albeit brief, stint in AEW, has just made a stunning debut in Dana White’s “Power Slap” league. And guess what? She picked up a fantastic win! Tremendous win!
On a fine Friday night, Paige VanZant entered the ring with all the confidence in the world and delivered a slap so powerful that even the sound waves were knocked out cold. Her opponent, Christine Wolmarans, valiantly tried to stand her ground, but after just two out of three of VanZant’s mighty slaps, she took a knee. Now, in “Power Slap” lingo, that’s a legal knockdown, folks. We call that a win by unanimous decision, and VanZant walked away victorious. Absolutely beautiful!
After her glorious win, VanZant shared her excitement with Charly Arnolt, saying, “Obviously, I wanted to knock her out the first slap, but I’m so happy it went the way it did. I knew I could take a punch, I knew I could take a slap, and that was really fun. This feels absolutely incredible, I want to thank Dana for bringing me to ‘Power Slap.’ I know this is the start of a long relationship.” Can you believe it? She knew she could take a slap, and folks, she delivered! Wonderful!
This is just the latest chapter in the epic saga of Paige VanZant’s career. She’s conquered professional and bare-knuckle boxing, took a wild ride in professional wrestling, and now she’s dominating in “Power Slap.” Let’s not forget her brief yet memorable time in AEW. She made her in-ring debut at Double or Nothing, scoring a win alongside Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky against Frankie Kazarian, Sammy Guevara, and Tay Melo. Sadly, that was her first and last wrestling match, but you know what they say: when one door closes, another door opens — and sometimes that door leads to a slap-fighting ring!
Gangrel, the wrestling vampire, once said she stopped training with him after that wrestling match. But let’s be real, folks, VanZant is too powerful for just one sport. Officially removed from the AEW roster at the start of this month, she’s now slapping her way into our hearts with “Power Slap.”
