AEW fans, mark your calendars and dust off your foam fingers! The highly anticipated AEW Grand Slam is returning to Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York this September. According to “WrestleTix” and a sneak peek on Ticketmaster, the next Grand Slam editions of “Dynamite” and “Collision” are penciled in for September 25. Yes, you read that right—this year, the Saturday “Collision” show will be pre-taped, making its debut at the iconic stadium. Meanwhile, “Rampage” seems to be taking a rain check from the venue for the first time since the Grand Slam’s inception in 2021.

Last Year’s Slam-Dunk Highlights

Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane to last year’s Grand Slam extravaganza. It was a night packed with title bouts and jaw-dropping upsets. We saw Eddie Kingston take down Claudio Castagnoli to snag the ROH World Championship, while also holding onto his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship. Rey Fenix pulled off a stunning victory against Jon Moxley for the AEW International Championship after an injury forced an unexpected change. MJF held onto his AEW World Championship, fending off Samoa Joe, who would eventually claim the title later.

The night wasn’t without its bruises, with Moxley suffering a concussion and Adam Cole breaking his ankle. Over on “Rampage,” “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks dethroned Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony for the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship. Meanwhile, Darby Allin and Sting teamed up to defeat Christian Cage and Killswitch.
