Folks, if you thought Shayna Baszler was just another WWE star sticking to the glitzy arenas and grand stages, think again! The “Queen of Spades” made a splash during WrestleMania 40 weekend without even gracing WWE’s biggest event. Instead, she decided to roll up her sleeves and throw down at GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport event on April 4. Picture it: Baszler vs. TNA’s Masha Slamovich in a bone-crunching showdown. And guess what? Baszler emerged victorious, folks, adding another feather to her already crowded cap.

Now, Baszler is back for more. She’s caught the Bloodsport fever, and it’s spreading faster than a viral TikTok dance. Josh Barnett himself confirmed on X (you know, the social media site formerly known as Twitter) that Baszler will return to the GCW ring this summer. The 11th installment of Barnett’s Bloodsport series is slated for July 28 at the Roulette Intermedium in New York City. Mark your calendars, folks, because it’s going to be a slugfest for the ages.

This Bloodsport installment promises to be a blockbuster, featuring a grudge match between TNA star Mike Santana and the ever-menacing Homicide. And that’s not all! Expect jaw-dropping performances from Masha Slamovich, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and death match dynamo AKIRA. It’s a lineup that’ll make you wish you had front-row seats, or at least a really good streaming service.

To pump up her upcoming bout, Baszler took to X, declaring, “The Universe cries out, it favors the many. Your Queen answers in defiance, ‘I am the one!’ All try to stand in the light….I am reaching out from the dark to collect them……Limb. By. Limb.” If that doesn’t send shivers down your spine, folks, you might want to check your pulse. #Bloodsport #BloodsportXI #JBBSXI #LimbByLimb – it’s all happening!

The anticipation is palpable, but Baszler’s opponent remains a mystery. Who will step up to face the former NXT Women’s Champion? Whoever it is, they better be ready for a fight that’ll leave them counting their limbs afterward.

For those keeping track, the Bloodsport series recently made a triumphant trip overseas with the Bloodsport Bushido event on June 22 in Tokyo, Japan. Barnett himself took on IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and current AEW star Jon Moxley in a nail-biter of a main event, with Moxley coming out on top. If that’s any indication, Bloodsport XI is set to deliver some unforgettable moments.
