The Lucha Bros, Penta El Zero Miedo and his brother Rey Fenix, were among the pioneering wrestlers to jump into AEW’s wrestling ring in 2019, immediately delivering spectacular matches against the Young Bucks and setting the stage on fire. But hold onto your masks, folks! Word on the wrestling street is that Penta’s AEW contract is slipping through his fingers faster than a greased-up wrestler in a royal rumble. Could WWE be in his future? Speaking with YouTube’s lucha libre aficionado, Lalo Elizarrarás, Penta decided to set the record straight.

“You know how social media is—a circus of misinformation,” Penta declared. “I don’t know who let the cat out of the bag about my contract. For now, I’m all about AEW. But hey, if WWE wants to toss a suitcase of cash my way, I’ll listen.”

This former AEW World Tag Team Champion isn’t just flipping in the ring; he’s flipping through life choices too. With a small army depending on him—merch teams, gym staff, training school flunkies—Penta has to weigh his options like a scale at a deli counter. And let’s not forget, as long as he’s under AEW’s thumb, those official WWE love letters can only collect dust.

Sure, WWE’s got the big lights and grander stages, and yes, some argue it’s the wrestling promised land. But our man Penta isn’t exactly a spring chicken. He’s more about the Benjamins than the brand.

“A WWE stint would be a wild chapter,” Penta mused. “But I’m not writing fan fiction here. If it happens, great. For now, AEW is home sweet home.”

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
