Monday’s “WWE Raw” brought the heat, folks! We’re talking more action than a squirrel on caffeine! The road to Money in the Bank is almost as busy as a Walmart on Black Friday, and two more superstars have grabbed their golden tickets to the high-flying, ladder-climbing extravaganza.
First up, we had a triple threat women’s match featuring Lyra Valkyria, Shayna “I’ll Choke You Out” Baszler, and the pirate princess herself, Kairi Sane. It was like watching a catfight with a tornado thrown in for good measure. Baszler tried to lock in her Kirifuda Clutch so many times, we lost count. Just when it seemed Baszler might snatch the win, Sane swooped in with her In-Sane Elbow from the top rope like a majestic, elbow-dropping eagle. But Valkyria wasn’t playing around – she saw her chance, hit the Nightwing on Sane, and BAM! Lyra Valkyria is now Money in the Bank-bound, joining IYO SKY and Chelsea Green. Someone hand that woman a ladder!
Meanwhile, Chad Gable had a rollercoaster of a week. Initially yanked from his qualifying match due to a backstage ambush by the notorious Wyatt Sicks, the scrappy underdog got the green light from Adam Pearce to jump back in. During the match, it looked like Bron “The Human Bulldozer” Strowman was going to pancake the competition until The Judgment Day decided to play a game of “How Many Guys Does It Take to Beat Up One Braun?” With Strowman dragged away, Gable took to the skies with a moonsault on Bronson Reed, nailing the win and securing his spot in the Money in the Bank match. Joining him will be Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, and Andrade.
We still have five more spots to fill in the men and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches. This Friday on “WWE SmackDown,” Naomi, Indi Hartwell, and Blair Davenport will throw down, while Candice LeRae, Tiffany Stratton, and Jade Cargill duke it out for a spot. And next Monday, Dakota Kai, Ivy Nile, and Zoey Stark will brawl for the final women’s spot. On the men’s side, we’ve got LA Knight facing off against United States Champion Logan Paul and Santos Escobar, while Drew McIntyre, Ilja Dragunov, and Sheamus will clash like titans on “Raw.”
