Hold onto your luchador masks, folks, because PAC just pulled off a major upset! In a thrilling main event on “AEW Dynamite,” PAC took down Ring of Honor Champion Claudio Castagnoli to advance in the Owen Hart Cup tournament. After his victory, PAC didn’t waste any time locking eyes with Bryan Danielson, who was on commentary, setting the stage for even more drama.

“The Bastard” kicked things off with a bang, literally dropping Castagnoli into the corner right from the start. The two powerhouses brawled to the outside, with PAC smashing Castagnoli into the barricade before dragging him back into the ring. Castagnoli wasn’t about to go down without a fight, though. He rolled out after a dropkick, delivering a pop-up uppercut to PAC on the outside. Castagnoli even managed to hit The Swing and a clothesline, but PAC kicked out, proving he’s tougher than a two-dollar steak.

The match turned into a pinfall frenzy, with both men trading near-falls until PAC finally got Castagnoli’s shoulders down for the decisive three-count. With this victory, PAC moves on to face the winner of Bryan Danielson versus Shingo Takagi in the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Cup.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the bracket, Rey Fenix will battle Jay White, and Jeff Jarrett is set to face a mysterious “wild card.” As if that wasn’t enough, “Dynamite” also featured Kris Statlander defeating Nyla Rose in the opening match of the women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament.
