In a plot twist that had Glasgow buzzing louder than a bagpipe solo, CM Punk stuck it to Drew McIntyre once again, costing him the World Heavyweight Championship in front of his hometown crowd at Clash at the Castle. It was a night of drama, betrayal, and a surprising guest appearance in stripes!

The chaos started when the referee got knocked out, leaving McIntyre and his foe, Damian Priest, duking it out with no one to count the pin. Enter CM Punk, who decided to moonlight as a referee, sliding into the ring and giving everyone false hope by starting a count—only to stop before the three when McIntyre had Priest down for the count after a thunderous Claymore Kick.

Priest, nursing an injured leg from a high-risk dive gone wrong, fought valiantly. McIntyre, ever the sportsman, helped Priest out of the ropes before turning him into a human pinball against the ring post. The battle raged on with both men exchanging blows from their knees to their feet. Outside the ring, McIntyre delivered a Glasgow Kiss (headbutt) and sent Priest crashing through the barricade with yet another Claymore.

Back in the ring, the action continued, leading to another accidental ref bump. McIntyre capitalized, hitting a Claymore on Priest and going for the pin. Just when it seemed like McIntyre would finally capture the gold, Punk made his dastardly move. Disguised as an official, Punk slid in, only to deliver a low blow to McIntyre. With McIntyre down, Priest seized the moment, delivering his finishing move, South of Heaven, and securing the pinfall victory.

As the Glasgow crowd erupted in a mix of shock and outrage, Punk stood smirking, having once again played the ultimate spoiler to McIntyre’s championship dreams.
