In a heartfelt revelation, WWE star Drew McIntyre disclosed that his wife will miss his upcoming title challenge at WWE Clash at the Castle due to an emergency surgery. McIntyre, who is set to face Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in Glasgow this weekend, shared the news during today’s Clash at the Castle Kickoff.

“I wasn’t gonna talk about it, but I can’t stop thinking about it. The one person who’s not gonna be there is my wife,” McIntyre said. “She’s in surgery right now, emergency surgery. And she told me, I want you to go there and bring that title home, and I’m gonna bring that title home!”

Despite this personal turmoil, McIntyre assured fans of his unwavering focus. “I’ve very much got my eye on the ball. I’ve never, ever been this focused in my life. I didn’t think it was possible. The last Clash was a stab through my heart, my family’s heart, the whole of the UK. I cannot let it happen again, Scotland. I’m back home, I couldn’t have dreamt of this moment … A redo, a chance to make this right.”

McIntyre’s determination is palpable as he returns to his home country to rectify his loss at WrestleMania 40, where he was briefly World Heavyweight Champion after dethroning Seth Rollins. However, his victory was short-lived, as CM Punk’s interference allowed Damian Priest to cash in Money in the Bank and steal the title. Similarly, McIntyre’s clash with Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle 2022 ended in disappointment due to Solo Sikoa’s interference.

This weekend’s event in Glasgow is more than a title match for McIntyre; it’s a deeply personal mission to reclaim his moment of glory.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
