In the high-stakes world of professional wrestling, injuries are as common as surprise chair shots. AEW’s roster has recently been hit hard, with stars like Eddie Kingston, Adam Copeland, and Dax Harwood sidelined. Now, the injury plague has spread to Tony Khan’s other venture, Ring of Honor, affecting a key player in the women’s division.

The latest victim? None other than AEW/ROH dynamo Kiera Hogan. On Thursday morning, independent promotion ASÉ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce Hogan’s unfortunate shoulder injury, forcing her out of their upcoming ASÉ 4 event on June 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This also means the much-anticipated reunion of Fire N’ Flava with partner Tasha Steelz will have to wait. Here’s to hoping Hogan’s shoulder heals faster than a wrestling referee’s three-count!

Details about when Hogan sustained the injury remain as elusive as a masked luchador. The former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion has been out of the ring since her last victory over Ashley D’Amboise on “ROH on HonorClub” in late April. Interestingly, Hogan appeared confident about her ASÉ 4 appearance, retweeting promotional tweets just a week ago. Talk about a plot twist!

Kiera Hogan’s journey in AEW began with a bang in August 2021, and she officially signed on a month later. She quickly became one of then TBS Champion Jade Cargill’s Baddies before making a name for herself in Ring of Honor. Hogan’s most memorable ROH match came in June of last year when she fiercely battled Athena for the ROH Women’s Title in a street fight that had fans raving.

Here’s wishing Kiera Hogan a swift recovery. The wrestling world eagerly awaits her return to the ring, where she’ll no doubt bring the fire once again.
