Linsky, the Associate General Manager and Senior Vice President of Programming & Operations for TNT and TBS, has been a staunch supporter of AEW since its inception in 2019. The report hints that Linsky has even played peacemaker, trying to keep Cody Rhodes from leaving the promotion. Talk about dedication!
But Linsky wasn’t alone. The report suggests other WBD staffers were also in attendance, possibly to discuss the all-important media rights deals. AEW CEO Tony Khan, always the promoter, touched on these negotiations during the Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, singing the praises of WBD and his eagerness to extend their partnership.
