The anticipation is palpable as WWE prepares to crown the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion in a high-stakes six-pack ladder match at “NXT” Battleground on June 9. After a grueling series of qualifying matches, the lineup is now complete, promising an explosive showdown at the APEX Arena.

The qualifiers reached their climax on Tuesday’s episode of “NXT,” where The OC’s Michin clashed with Tatum Paxley, securing her spot by delivering an Eat Defeat for the win. Later, Kelani Jordan clinched the final spot with a stunning split-legged moonsault victory over Wren Sinclair.

Michin and Jordan join an elite group of competitors already set for the ladder match: Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, and Sol Ruca. Legend’s path to the contest was marked by a significant victory over “WWE Raw” powerhouse Ivy Nile on the May 14 episode of “NXT.” Meanwhile, Parker and Henley earned their places by defeating Brinley Reece and Thea Hail, respectively. Ruca rounded out the field by besting Izzi Dame, a former protégé of Kiana James.

In other news from this week’s “NXT,” General Manager Ava announced a marquee match for Battleground: NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will defend her title against the formidable returning TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. This announcement adds another layer of excitement to an already stacked card.

As the NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match draws near, fans can expect nothing short of spectacular performances from these top-tier athletes, each vying to make history on June 9.
