Charlette Renegade, the powerhouse of AEW and ROH, has slammed the brakes on rumors suggesting she’s been off the screen due to concussion issues. Taking to “X,” the wrestling star made it crystal clear that the gossip was as false as a three-dollar bill. She hinted that the real reason for her absence would be revealed in her own sweet time.

“False, I’ll explain my situation on my time. Thank you for respecting my privacy at this time 🖤,” Charlette tweeted, leaving fans both relieved and intrigued.

Sean Ross Sapp of “Fightful,” the original rumor-monger, reported that Renegade had personally reached out to clarify she’ll share her story when she’s good and ready. While Charlette has been out of the ring for reasons unknown, her twin sister, Robyn Renegade, has been tearing it up solo, taking on heavyweights like Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa on AEW TV.

AEW seems to be caught in a whirlwind of injury woes lately. Eddie Kingston, slated for the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing, snapped his tibia in a bout with Gabe Kidd in NJPW, putting him on the shelf for a few months. ROH Women’s World Champion Athena is also rumored to have picked up an injury at a recent taping. And let’s not forget Powerhouse Hobbs, who recently went under the knife after a knee injury from his clash with Jon Moxley. Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson, who was supposed to team up with Kingston, has announced he’s heading for surgery too.
