Wrestling fans, brace yourselves for some backstage drama! Despite rumors swirling around Tiffany Stratton’s recent social media blunder, it seems the rising star isn’t facing any repercussions from WWE. According to Pro Wrestling Insider, Stratton’s Queen of the Ring quarterfinal match with Bianca Belair went ahead as planned on Friday’s SmackDown, with no signs of internal punishment.

The Controversial Post

The buzz began when Stratton posted a fan-made video on her Instagram story. The clip showed her delivering a forearm to Jade Cargill, knocking her off the ring apron. The controversy arose from an audio sample in the video, which included a derogatory phrase. Stratton swiftly deleted the post, but not before it was widely shared and dissected by the wrestling community.

No Heat on Cargill or Stratton

Contrary to online speculation, PWI’s sources report that there’s no heat on Stratton for the incident. WWE management reportedly still sees her as a major asset with significant potential. Additionally, Jade Cargill, who debuted in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, has also been praised for her main roster performances.

Stratton’s Rapid Rise

Since her call-up from WWE NXT after the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, Stratton has made quite an impression. She received a thunderous ovation at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, and competed for the WWE Women’s Championship in France at Backlash. Despite losing to Bianca Belair in the Queen of the Ring quarterfinals on SmackDown, Stratton’s star continues to rise.
