Just when the fireworks should’ve been for Jon Moxley’s successful defense of his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Resurgence, the villainous House of Torture turned the celebration sour with a sneak attack. Moxley, never one to mince words or back down from a fight, launched a fiery counter-offensive via NJPW’s social media, delivering a blistering promise to the fans—and a threat to his foes.

In his raw, no-holds-barred style, Moxley roared, “One day, somebody’s going to hit me and I’m not going to get back up. Could happen this summer. Could happen tomorrow. But that man is not going to be you, Evil.” He went on to castigate Evil and his faction for their underhanded tactics, pledging to “free New Japan Pro Wrestling of the scourge that is the House of Torture. Or I will die trying.” This isn’t just a wrestling match; it’s Moxley’s personal war!

Adding more fuel to the fire, Moxley hinted that he’s not alone. With potential backup from his Blackpool Combat Club comrades—Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli—the stage is set for an epic showdown. With AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 3 looming, could we see these two factions clash in a battle that promises more sparks than a Fourth of July celebration?

Moxley’s reign as champion has not been a peaceful one. Since capturing the title from Tetsuya Naito, it’s clear that holding the IWGP gold means fighting off challengers and ambushes alike. But if anyone can handle the pressure and keep his enemies in check, it’s Moxley. His vow to dismantle the House of Torture isn’t just about retaining a title—it’s about restoring honor to the squared circle.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
