Scrypts Drops the Mic… and the Mask!

In a move that’s got more drama than my last board meeting, Scrypts (formerly known as Reggie and that charming sommelier alongside Carmella) is taking his final bow at WWE. As the clock ticks down to his contract expiry in June, Scrypts turned to X to drop a video that’s part diss track, part farewell tour. Backed by Kendrick Lamar’s fiery “Euphoria,” it’s clear he’s not just moving on; he’s moving up.

A Box, A Mask, and a Whole Lot of Swagger

In his latest social media spectacle, Scrypts isn’t just cleaning house; he’s making a statement. Packing up his WWE memorabilia, including the iconic 24/7 title and his OTM mask, he wraps up his journey with a symbolic removal of his OTM necklace. But it’s not just about what he’s packing away—it’s about what he’s gearing up for next. As the screen fades with “Available June 1st,” Scrypts is smiling, and why wouldn’t he? Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose!

The Showman’s New Act

Before WWE, Scrypts dazzled as a Cirque du Soleil performer, and he brought that same flair to the wrestling ring. From valeting for Carmella to his masked escapades in NXT, Scrypts has always been about the spectacle. But as Fightful Select hints, the real-life Sidney Akeem is ready to wrestle under his own name, unmasked and perhaps unleashed.

What’s Next for the Artist Formerly Known as Scrypts?

With his WWE chapter closing, the wrestling world is buzzing about where he’ll land next. Independent circuits? International promotions? Or maybe, just maybe, he’s got another surprise up his sleeve. One thing’s for sure, wherever he goes, he’ll bring the show.

So, as we countdown to June 1st, let’s not see this as the end of Scrypts in WWE, but the beginning of Sidney Akeem’s next great adventure. Remember, in wrestling, as in life, every exit is just an entrance to somewhere else!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
